A New Chapter for the RGS Foundation Team: Our Move to Broadfield

After many years based at the heart of the main school site, the RGS Foundation team moved from the historic Bursary Building, known as the old Headmaster's House and the oldest part of the school, dating back to 1862 – to a new home at Broadfield House, one of Reigate’s distinctive villas and former Sixth Form building for many of our former pupils.

Broadfield sits proudly among a small collection of Reigate villas, including 1 Chart Lane and several notable buildings along London Road. While our surroundings may have changed, our purpose remains firmly rooted in the Reigatian community and its future.

Situated upstairs, our new office has been thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming and collaborative space. The walls tell our story: photographs from key moments in our recent history, including the Gala Ball and the launch of Changing Lives, Building Futures campaign at Leake Street Arches, celebrate the energy, generosity and ambition that define the Foundation today.

This move reflects a broader period of growth and transformation. Since the launch of our campaign in 2023, we have been establishing ourselves as a new era of the RGS Foundation. Over this time, we have:

  • Hosted our largest event to date, bringing together supporters, former pupils and friends of the school
  • Launched the Reigatian Hub, our new online platform designed to strengthen connections across the RGS community
  • Welcomed a new team member, Anne-Luce, further strengthening our capacity and expertise
  • Diversified our planning and approach to ensure our work is inclusive, sustainable and impactful for the long term

Our relocation to Broadfield is more than a change of address. It marks a step forward as we continue to build momentum, deepen engagement and support future generations of pupils.

A huge thank you to the Estates team that supported (and moved us) so seamlessly.

We look forward to welcoming visitors to our new space and to continuing our work with renewed focus, from a place that reflects both our heritage and our ambition for the future.
