IDPE Development Awards - Shortlist

We are delighted to share that the RGS Foundation has been shortlisted in two categories at the Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) Development Awards 2025:

• Schools' Engagement Campaign of the Year (6 years or more)
• Schools' Award for Ambition and Progress (6 years or more)

These awards celebrate innovation and impact in schools’ fundraising and engagement across the UK. While the recognition is for the team, it is truly a reflection of our global, Reigatian community, whose support makes everything possible.

Reigatians play an active role in school life in so many ways. From attending events, acting as ambassadors, supporting at home and overseas, galvanising support across our global network, any contribution helps us to broaden our impact. Many volunteer their time through enrichment programmes on the Reigatian Hub, offering mentoring, work experience, careers advice, business connections, workshops and talks that inspire Reigatians every day.

The Reigatian community also steps up through fundraising, taking part in big whole-community fundraisers like Giving Day and the IMAGINE Prize Draw, or providing regular gifts, big or small, or leaving a legacy gift. Others live the Reigatian values by volunteering with our charity partners, helping families within our local area. Reigatian businesses support our auctions and raffles, sponsor events and engage with us across our social media platforms. Reigatians help raise awareness and engagement, creating a butterfly effect that continues to strengthen the RGS network.

We are grateful for every show of support, whether large or small, as Reigatians find their fit with our Changing Lives, Building Futures campaign.

Winners will be announced during IDPE’s Celebration of Giving Week on Friday 21 November, and we look forward to joining the wider sector to celebrate the impact of school development work across the UK.
