Over 100 new and existing parents joined us for our PFA New Parents' Party, bringing together families whose children have joined RGS in First, Third and Sixth Form. It was an evening to meet like-minded parents, make new connections and begin the journey together.
Drinks flowed, friendships began, and a wonderful sense of community filled the room.
Headmaster Shaun Fenton welcomed everyone to RGS, describing the PFA as “the best friend of the school”. The RGS Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is a volunteer-led group run by RGS parents, supporting projects that enrich pupils’ experiences and everyday school life. Anne-Luce Guedj, Chair of the PFA and RGS Foundation Officer, highlighted how the PFA brings community together and provides aspects of school life that that make a real difference – from drones to ice rinks at Christmas!
Each year, the PFA hosts a welcome party for new parents, helping build friendships and strengthen connections across the school community.
There are plenty of ways to get involved, whether you can offer a little time, lend a hand or support future initiatives. If you’d like to be part of the PFA, they would love to hear from you. Please contact pfa@reigategrammar.org.
A huge thank you to the PFA for hosting such a wonderful evening, with the support of the RGS Foundation. Here’s to new friendships, lasting connections and the exciting journey ahead!
