Leaving a gift in your Will may be the greatest legacy you can offer.
Since 1675, RGS has transformed lives by providing education to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded through the legacy of Henry Smith, for educating poor boys in Reigate, RGS has evolved in many ways, but our core philanthropic values remain. Today, we are as committed as ever to offering an exceptional education to deserving students, regardless of their circumstances.
Thank you for considering this life-changing gesture.
The RGS Foundation legacy appeal
We invite you to watch our legacy film featuring Reigatians Peter Clarke (RGS 1945-50) and Karolina Csathy (RGS 2008-15), as they share how RGS enriched their lives. Karolina, who received a Changing Lives bursary, and Peter both hope that their support will give others the same opportunities they had. As Peter says, “It is a cause very close to my heart, as my time at the school truly changed my life.”
Your legacy gift could help provide this life-changing experience for future students. Once your loved ones are cared for, even a small gift in your Will could open doors for students from disadvantaged backgrounds or help build facilities to ensure we continue to provide a world-class education for thousands of children, whilst also sharing these opportunities with the local community..
If you’re considering leaving a gift to RGS, our Foundation team would be happy to guide you through the process, or you can complete the online form: Legacy Bequest Confirmation of Wishes or print this out, using the link below. We always respect your privacy and will treat your gift according to your wishes.
1675 Society
In gratitude, those who choose to leave a legacy gift for the Changing Lives, Building Futures fund are invited to join the 1675 Society, reflecting the year RGS was founded. Society members receive an annual newsletter and an invitation to a special lunch or tea with the Headmaster as well as other events.
